Do I need an account?
No. Kinora has no sign-up, no password and no sign-in. Every part of the app works without telling us anything about yourself.
Can I move my taste profile to a new phone?
Not yet. Your swipes, ratings, watchlist and taste profile are stored only on your device, and we hold no copy. Saving an email address in Profile does not back them up — it only lets us reach you about the beta. If you uninstall the app or lose your device, that data cannot be recovered.
How do I start over with fresh recommendations?
Go to Profile → Reset my data. This erases everything Kinora has learned about your taste on this device, permanently.
How do I change or turn off the daily reminder?
Go to Profile → Daily reminder to change the time or switch it off. You can also revoke notification permission in your device settings.
Why is a film showing on a service I can't access?
Streaming availability and age ratings depend on your market, which Kinora takes from your device’s language and region settings. If it’s wrong, you can change your country in Profile.
How does a movie night work?
Start one at kinoraapp.fun/night and share the link. Guests pick a mood and vote — they don’t need the app or an account.
I sent feedback in the app. Will you reply?
We read every note, but in-app feedback is deliberately anonymous — it carries no email address or device identifier — so we can’t reply to it. If you’d like an answer, email us at info@kinoraapp.fun.
How do I remove my email address?
Go to Profile → Email to make the app forget it. To be removed from our beta contact list as well, email info@kinoraapp.fun and we’ll delete the record.
